I contemplated for a while as to whether I should place this in the fan art category or the pop art category, buy decided to place it in the latter becuase the final version of this picture was pop art. This was the starting drawing for my finaly project in my art class, done in the style of Roy Lichtenstein, who took panels from comic books and blew them up to enourmous sizes. The final version will not be submitted here until sometime in ugust, because it is currently hanging (okay, it might not be hanging, because it's 4' x 4'...i don't know) in the peoria district office or something. Anyway, don't yell at me for blatantly copying this picture from one of the FLCL mangas, because I'm admitting right here that I did. So...just sit tight for a few months until I can get a picture of the final.
Micron pens on regular old white printing paper.
Dude this is one of the best things I've seen in a while, do you mind if I do my own rendition? I will give you all the credit and provide a link to the original. If so, please reply, if not that's okay

Knock yourself out. I have no real claim to this piece of art anyway, as It's from the FLCL manga. The only claim I truly have is the text in the image, so I don't need any credit unless you use that part.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
